The purpose of Coach training is to introduce and teach the Space Flight Simulator Instructional System to the team coaches for the upcoming competition. The goal is to teach the coaches so they can teach their students and create a cohesive problem-solving team. The SAC 2021 Coach Training event is scheduled for Friday, October 15 - Sunday, October 17, 2021 in Tallahassee. Coach attendance is mandatory for new coaches and highly suggested for returning coaches.

Description of the segments of a flight and details on the mission checklist
Covers the SAC emergency procedures, type of emergencies and how to resolve in-flight emergencies
Describes the communications protocols, types of communications, checklist communications confirmation process and the emergency resolution process
Covers many common errors and issues flight crews encounter during a flight simulation and how to avoid them
Detailed description of the process to download and setup the Orbiter 2010 software and the data panels
The PowerPoints and Word documents used for the Coach Training will be uploaded by Wednesday, October 21st. Zoom meetings will be scheduled for Saturday, October 24th to provide additional details and to answer all questions. The Zoom schedule will be published shortly.
